Free Energy Evaluations for Rural NC Businesses and Farms
EnergyCAP can provide free over-the-phone or on-site technical assistance to small businesses and agricultural producers in the rural regions of North Carolina, helping them evaluate and assess the potential for using renewable energy and energy efficiency measures at their business in a third-party, vendor-neutral way. This is made possible with a supporting grant from USDA Rural Development.
Rural small businesses and farms who are interested in having a free report on their energy generation potential for solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, wood heat, and other renewable energy technologies can receive helpful educational information and preliminary vendor-neutral site evaluations at no cost.
Rural small businesses and farms who are interested in pursuing efficiency measures like lighting, insulation, air sealing, pump and equipment upgrades, may be eligible for a free audit from our partner organization, Waste Reduction Partners. In any case, we can support such businesses with knowledge about available grant funding, available electric utility incentives, and more.
If your business is interested in receiving technical assistance from the EnergyCAP team, start the process by taking this ‘Get Started’ Survey today. After reviewing your eligibility and areas of interest from your survey responses, we will be back in touch with more information and the next steps towards evaluating the energy improvement options at your business.
